Description

You will develop and maintain software applications and web services to streamline operations and automate processes within a digital architecture.

Responsibilities

• Develop software applications as web services using JavaScript-based technologies or Java frameworks.
• Build and maintain APIs using REST-like patterns to facilitate communication between software applications and databases.
• Manage data interactions with relational databases such as Postgres and MySQL.
• Maintain content management systems including Domino and SharePoint.
• Improve website usability, accessibility, and search capabilities through enterprise capability leveraging.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Extensive experience developing in Java.
• Proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with application frameworks including Spring Boot and Node.js (NestJS).
• Hands-on experience with AWS or C2S cloud technologies.
• Experience with Python and scripting languages including Perl, PHP, or Ruby on Rails.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle or Postgres and SQL query writing.
• Experience with web services (REST) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Ability to work in a Linux environment using Bash scripting and VI.
• Proficiency using IDEs such as IntelliJ, Eclipse, or NetBeans.
• Experience with data transfer formats including XML and JSON.
• Ability to conduct code reviews and participate in Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Angular, ExtJS, or Dojo.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and messaging.
