Description

You will develop and maintain software applications, web services, and APIs for the Intelligence Community, focusing on streamlining operations and automating processes. You will collaborate with technical interfaces to align solutions with overarching digital architecture and ensure records management requirements are integrated early in the design phase.

Responsibilities

• Develop web services and applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Angular, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Design and maintain REST-like APIs for communication between software applications and databases.
• Manage data storage and interactions with Postgres, MySQL, and AWS cloud technologies.
• Utilize XML, JSON, or sponsor standards for data transfer and metadata management.
• Improve search functionality, website usability, and accessibility while supporting legal mandates.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience developing in Java.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with application frameworks: Spring Boot, Node.js (NestJS), and Angular.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technology (AWS / C2S).
• Experience with web services (REST) and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle / Postgres).
• Ability to use IDEs (IntelliJ, Eclipse, NetBeans) and work in a Linux environment (Bash, VI).
• Experience writing SQL queries.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Perl, PHP, Ruby on Rails).
• Familiarity with content management systems (Domino, SharePoint).
