Description

You will build and deploy end-to-end cloud solutions across the full application stack within AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop application servers and multi-layered technical solutions.
• Own the maintenance and improvement of customer-facing websites.
• Build applications from scratch through all phases of the product development lifecycle.
• Convert existing in-house applications into modern web applications.
• Provide technical expertise on emerging technologies and their impact on the IT organization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in writing AWS Lambda functions using Python.
• Strong experience with Core Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Expertise in Microservices and Web Services using SOAP and REST.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including CodeBuild, CodeCommit, CodePipeline, API Gateway, CloudFormation, and Serverless Deployment.
• Ability to work with XML and XSLT, specifically with ACORD XML files.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS and React.
• Strong ability to write complex SQL queries and Unix scripting.
• Practical experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working within an insurance carrier.
