Description

Build and maintain secure, scalable backend services and APIs while driving DevSecOps practices and modernizing the platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build new backend capabilities and RESTful APIs, translating Figma designs into production-ready UI.
• Apply secure-coding best practices, refactor risky patterns, and integrate security gates into CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate deployments and reduce manual work using GitHub, CI/CD, containerization, and cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with security SMEs to prioritize remediation and translate findings into clean, maintainable code.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and pair programming to raise the engineering bar.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of total experience with strong backend expertise in Java or Node.js.
• Intermediate to advanced experience with Angular (React is a plus).
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or OpenShift.
• Strong working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expert-level Git skills, including branching, merging, and code reviews.
• Proven experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline design.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar monitoring tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating intelligent agents into CI/CD pipelines to automate reviews, testing, or deployments.
• Strong focus on automated unit, functional, and performance testing.
