Description

You will build and maintain scalable backend services using Java and the Spring ecosystem.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable backend logic using Java, Spring Boot, and Gradle.
• Implement secure data access layers with Spring Security, Spring Data, and JPA.
• Manage database schema evolution using Flyway and Postgres.
• Containerize services using Docker and manage multi-container environments with Docker Compose.
• Write unit and integration tests using Mockito.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Gradle build automation.
• Hands-on work with Spring Security and Spring Data.
• Deep understanding of JPA and Lombok.
• Experience with Postgres databases and Flyway migrations.
• Competency in Docker and Docker Compose.
• Version control using Git.
• Experience documenting APIs with Swagger.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
