Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and the Enterprise Data Platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable data ingestion and curation pipelines using Python, SQL, DBT, and Dataform.
• Develop end-to-end data solutions leveraging GCP native services including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.
• Implement data governance, security policies, and access controls to protect sensitive data assets.
• Orchestrate data workflows and manage cloud infrastructure using Astronomer and Terraform (IaC).
• Monitor and optimize pipeline performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.
• 2+ years hands-on experience building and deploying cloud-based data platforms on GCP.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, and SQL.
• Experience with BigQuery, Dataform, Dataflow, and DataProc.
• Proficiency in MySQL for data storage and management.
• Experience designing and deploying CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and microservices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DataProc for large-scale data processing.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into optimized data asset designs.
