Description

You will design, develop, and maintain full stack applications for data ingestion, processing, and visualization.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage real-time data pipelines using Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Develop backend services, microservices, and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Create or support UI components for data-driven applications using React, Angular, or Vue.
• Integrate streaming and batch data pipelines with data engineering teams.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes to ensure data quality.

Required Skills

• 8–10 years of full stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, streams).
• Experience building scalable, distributed systems and real-time data pipelines.
• Working knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment supporting EST hours.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in healthcare domain (HIPAA, PHI, clinical/claims data) or familiarity with FHIR/HL7 standards.
• Exposure to modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
• Knowledge of data platforms such as Databricks or Spark.
