Description

You will split your time equally between building ETL pipelines and developing backend services.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance ETL pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.
• Design and build lightweight UIs using Flask to display data.
• Build and expose RESTful API endpoints to integrate with databases and applications.
• Manage large volumes of data using Postgres, DynamoDB, and GraphQL.
• Assist with streaming data solutions to ensure scalable data accessibility.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on Python.
• Proficiency in Python for backend and data engineering tasks.
• Experience with Java or Go for data layer updates.
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, specifically Postgres and DynamoDB.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with GraphQL.
• Hands-on experience with ETL pipelines and data transformations.
• Experience with AWS services, including EMR and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
