Description

You will build and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices handling video, audio, and image uploads for digital reporting experiences.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Azure OpenAI and Azure Speech for transcription, text-to-speech, and data extraction.
• Design secure storage and retrieval of media using Azure Blob Storage and related services.
• Optimize performance, latency, and reliability for real-time and batch AI workflows.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers on capture and playback APIs.
• Work with cloud, security, and governance teams to meet compliance requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot backend development.
• 5 years of experience with React frontend development.
• Experience with Node.js, RESTful APIs, and cloud computing (Azure or AWS).
• Hands-on experience with Azure, including storage and containerized services.
• Practical experience integrating AI/ML or LLM services (e.g., OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, speech, vision).
• Strong understanding of secure API design and access control.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and GitHub, including source control.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to own solutions end-to-end in a cross-functional engineering team.
