Description

Build and deliver scalable, highly available full stack applications with a focus on backend and serverless architectures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using serverless technologies and microservices architecture.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using CDK to manage AWS cloud environments.
• Design and maintain event-driven architectures using SQS and Kafka.
• Drive continuous delivery through CI, TDD, BDD, and end-to-end test automation.
• Apply software engineering best practices including Refactoring, Clean Code, and Domain Driven Design.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and AWS CDK.
• Experience with MongoDB and DynamoDB.
• Knowledge of SQS and Kafka.
• Experience with React or similar frontend frameworks.
• Practical application of TDD and BDD.
• Understanding of Backend for Frontend (BFF) patterns.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry for monitoring and observability.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile and Lean methodologies.
• Knowledge of highly scalable and highly available system design.
