You will design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise Java applications and web services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement secure, maintainable Java web applications and microservices.
• Lead large-scale development projects with technical oversight and coordination.
• Enhance Coordination of Benefits and Recovery (COB&R) applications to meet CMS guidelines.
• Mentor junior developers on code quality, design patterns, and professional growth.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of object-oriented software development experience.
• 5+ years developing web and J2EE applications (Java, JSP/Servlets, EJB, JMS, MVC).
• 4+ years of microservices development experience.
• Proficiency with the Java Spring Framework for backend development.
• Experience deploying and managing code in AWS environments.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Knowledge of Java object design and common design patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Angular and Node.js.
