Description

You will build and maintain web-based applications across the full stack.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Java/J2EE technologies, focusing on Core Java features like multi-threading and the Executor framework.
• Design and implement RESTful web services and integrate them into larger systems.
• Manage database interactions, including SQL design, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Build user interfaces using JavaScript frameworks and standard web technologies.
• Ensure application compatibility across browsers and platforms while adhering to security best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years developing web applications with Java/J2EE.
• Expertise in Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and MyBatis.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, Angular, JSP, CSS, and HTML.
• Experience consuming and producing data via JSON and XML/XSLT.
• Familiarity with application servers such as JBoss, Apache, or Tomcat.
• Strong understanding of modern JS libraries and AJAX implementation.
• Experience with SQL database design and optimization.
• Ability to use GitHub Copilot in Agent mode for Java development assistance.
