Description

You will build and improve the Alloy Studio platform by developing new functionalities, enhancing user experience, and optimizing query execution.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern data management tools to curate data sets, models, and processes.
• Contribute to open source technologies, specifically the Legend language and framework.
• Drive the adoption of cloud technology for data processing and warehousing.
• Engage with data consumers and producers to design appropriate models for diverse use cases.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in a team-focused environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Strong object-oriented design and programming skills using Java.
• Experience applying Domain Driven Design to build complex business applications.
• In-depth knowledge of relational and columnar SQL databases and database design.
• Deep understanding of data curation, traceability, security, and performance latency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience or interest in functional programming languages.
• Knowledge of business processes, data flows, and quantitative models.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed system design or the Financial Services industry.
• Experience with Pure/Alloy.
• Working knowledge of AWS Lambda and Prometheus.
