Description

Job Responsibilities include:

Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.

Lead legacy application modernization initiatives, transforming monolithic, mainframe, or on-premises systems into scalable cloud-native architectures.

Architect and implement integration solutions using APIs, message queues, and enterprise integration patterns to connect modern and legacy platforms.

Build and support CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools such as Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes to enable efficient software delivery.

Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to define technical solutions, software architecture, and modernization roadmaps.

Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, including Generative AI solutions, to enhance application capabilities, accelerate code modernization, and improve development productivity.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

15+ years of hands-on software development experience with a strong focus on Java-based enterprise applications.

Deep expertise in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, REST API development, microservices architecture, and enterprise integration patterns.

Proven experience modernizing legacy applications (Java, COBOL, mainframe, or monolithic systems) into cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP, with hands-on experience in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices
