Description

Build and maintain scalable services for a middle office platform focused on resiliency and interoperability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Drive the design of scalable applications and lead design and code reviews with senior staff.
• Collaborate with technologists to develop and contribute to reusable code and services.
• Work within an Agile scrum team to ensure high service delivery and reliability.
• Develop subject matter expertise in specific functional areas of the platform.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Java 17 or higher.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Angular 11 or higher, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture and architectural patterns.
• Experience with messaging frameworks such as IBM MQ or Kafka.
• Strong fundamentals in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Design.
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of the Securities or Financial Services domain.
