Description

You will build API-based web applications from concept through production, focusing on cloud-first architecture.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy API-based systems using industry-leading practices.
• Tackle complex technical challenges and provide solutions in ambiguous situations.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, well-tested code.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders to communicate technical concepts.
• Support legacy systems during the transition to new platforms.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Node.js, AWS (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway), and cloud deployment methodologies.
• Experience with C# and .NET (Core and Framework).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Relational/NoSQL database technologies.
• Experience with Terraform, Docker, and container orchestration principles.
• CI/CD implementation via Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency with frontend frameworks like React or data engineering practices.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of DBT, Qlik Replication, or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with the Insurance or Reinsurance industry.
