Description

You will build and maintain scalable web applications using Python and Java. You own the full development lifecycle from API design to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs using Python frameworks like Flask or Django.
• Develop server-side logic and data access layers with JDBC, Hibernate, or similar tools.
• Build and maintain front-end interfaces using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks like Angular or React.
• Manage databases including PostgreSQL and MongoDB, utilizing abstractions like MongoEngine.
• Configure web app routing, load balancing, and security protocols such as SSL and OAuth.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience in Flask or Django.
• Experience with Java, Spring, Struts, or similar backend frameworks.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Angular.js, or React.js.
• Experience with SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (Mongo) databases.
• Knowledge of web security standards including SSL, SAML, and OAuth.
• Familiarity with version control (Git, Bitbucket), Maven, and CI/CD tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and writing Helm charts.
• Understanding of microservices patterns and web app routing.
