Description

Design and develop scalable retail applications using TDD. Own the full code lifecycle from technical design to monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design and launch highly-visible features using Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development.
• Own the full code lifecycle including story preparation, development, automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Perform requirement analyses and create detailed technical designs.
• Conduct code reviews, suggest best practices, and participate in pair programming.
• Execute deployment, monitoring, and maintenance within an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience developing microservices using NodeJS.
• Expertise in Test-Driven Development (TDD) is mandatory.
• Strong DevOps knowledge including CI/CD via Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with deployment strategies such as Canary and Blue/Green.
• Proficiency with SQL/No-SQL databases, preferably Cosmos DB.
• Knowledge of caching engines like Redis or Varnish.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as New Relic, Grafana, or Splunk.
• Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and be available on call as project needs require.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure cloud environments, including Microsoft VMs and Blob Storage.
• Knowledge of Application Gateways, Load Balancers, CDNs, and Akamai.
• Experience with Optimizely, Server Side Certificate Management, or Venafi.
