Description

You will own the full software development lifecycle, from specification through deployment, for complex service requests. You will design detailed specifications, write clean code, and execute unit and systems testing to ensure high-quality delivery. Your work involves modifying existing procedures to solve technical problems and creating precise technical documentation. You will also provide peer leadership during code walk-throughs and collaborate with the team to implement new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, code, test, and debug software solutions independently to meet functional requirements.
• Design detailed technical specifications and conduct rigorous unit and systems testing.
• Modify existing system processes to resolve complex technical issues and improve output.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for design and development.
• Lead peer code walk-throughs and track project progress to maintain quality standards.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with the Spring framework, including REST, JPA, and Security.
• Practical experience with Hibernate and SQL databases.
• Knowledge of Spring MVC, Struts, or Angular.
• Ability to conduct code walk-throughs and manage project tracking.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of AWS cloud services.
