Description

You will own end-to-end development of strategic solutions, from UI to backend, within a distributed application environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and document new functionalities and system enhancements.
• Build and deploy applications using Docker containers on AWS ECS.
• Debug AWS native applications using CloudWatch and Splunk.
• Manage application support, logging, and health checking using Splunk and DynaTrace.
• Serve as a technical expert across development, coding, testing, and debugging stages.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software development experience with a focus on Java-based microservices and AngularJS.
• Expertise in Core/Advanced Java and Spring Frameworks (Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Batch).
• Extensive experience with Java EE platform and distributed applications.
• 3+ years of frontend experience using AngularJS/Backbone, HTML5, JQuery, CSS 3, and object-oriented JavaScript.
• 3+ years of experience building and deploying applications on AWS Cloud.
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and SOAP Web Services.
• Experience with messaging technologies including JMS, AWS SNS, SQS, or Kafka.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools including Maven and Jenkins.
• Experience with automated testing using JUnit and Jasmine.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies using Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with JBOSS Application server.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB, Cassandra, or MongoDB.
• Experience with caching technologies such as Redis or Memcached.
• Technical certifications.
