Description

You will build and maintain scalable web services and front-end applications using Java and modern JavaScript frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy web services using Java 8+ and the Spring/Spring Boot framework.
• Develop responsive front-end interfaces using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Design and implement REST and SOAP-based APIs.
• Manage application deployment and orchestration using Kubernetes, Jenkins, and AWS.
• Integrate mobile hybrid applications using the IONIC framework.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development methodologies and best practices.
• 7+ years of experience building web services in SOAP and/or REST using Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
• 5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript libraries such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS, or Bootstrap.
• Hands-on experience with Java 8, Spring Boot, and REST.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
• Experience with API management tools like Apigee or DataPower.
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or MQ.
• Experience with databases including MS SQL, DB2, or MySQL.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IONIC for mobile hybrid development.
