Description

Design, develop, and test new C# features for APIs and backend applications within a customer portal ecommerce platform. Rewrite existing web applications and Windows services to .NET 6+, including gathering requirements and designing solutions. Collaborate with scrum teams and product owners to identify features, resolve bugs, and report progress to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test new features using C# for APIs and backend services.
• Refactor legacy web applications and Windows services to .NET 6+.
• Collaborate with scrum teams to define features and resolve defects.
• Communicate progress and technical challenges to key stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and Visual Studio IDE.
• Experience with API development and object-oriented programming.
• Strong T-SQL skills, including complex joins, inserts, updates, and stored procedure optimization.
• Experience with React and version control systems (Git or TFVS).
• Ability to work in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Google Protocol Buffers (gRPC), Salesforce, RabbitMQ, or Heroku.
• Background in the wholesale distribution industry.
