Description

You will build and maintain software solutions within an investment banking context.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Define user requirements and set expectations for feature priorities throughout the development process.
• Recommend technical solutions by evaluating trade-offs between custom development and vendor products.
• Execute full development lifecycles by gathering requirements, managing schedules, and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Write unit tests, regression tests, and user test cases to ensure code quality.
• Support the team through technical documentation, mentoring, and participation in production issue resolution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Senior-level Java 1.8+ expertise, including multi-threading and JVM performance tuning.
• Experience with Spring, Apache Camel, and Message Oriented Middleware (JMS).
• Proficiency in Test Driven Development (TDD) and JUnit.
• Experience with relational databases and Maven.
• Version control experience using Git or SVN.
• Ability to script on Linux platforms.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and build repositories.

Preferred Skills

• Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, or Cloud platforms.
