Description

You will lead the development and deployment of production-grade Node.js applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and integrate server-side applications using Node.js with REST endpoints and NoSQL or Graph DB engines.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using Git and Jenkins, including deployment strategies like A/B testing and Canary deployments.
• Implement authentication and authorization protocols using OAuth2, SAML, and OIDC across multiple systems.
• Develop and maintain automated testing suites using BDD/TDD frameworks and tools like Postman.
• Collaborate in an agile environment to solve complex analytical problems and ensure code quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Node.js and ES6/JavaScript with deep knowledge of ECMAScript specifications.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Graph DB) and relational databases.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous, functional, and object-oriented programming patterns.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, specifically Lambda and API Gateway.
• Knowledge of module bundlers, transpilers, and JavaScript design patterns.
• Competency in frontend technologies including HTML5 and CSS3.
• Proven ability to debug complex systems and validate REST-based applications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building cross-platform desktop applications using Electron.
• Technical certifications.
