Build user-facing applications and manage backend data services using the MERN stack.

Responsibilities

• Develop user-facing applications using React.js and build modular, reusable components.
• Optimize application performance and implement automated testing within development workflows.
• Expand existing data service APIs and utilize backend services.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and drive engineering excellence.
• Mentor team members, conduct monthly upskilling training, and participate in the hiring process.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Thorough understanding of React.js core principles and workflows like Flux or Redux.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and MongoDB.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms like JSON Web Token.
• Proficiency with Git and code versioning tools.
• Expertise in Agile product development and project management.
• Familiarity with front-end build tools including Babel, Webpack, and NPM.
• Experience with data structure libraries such as Immutable.js.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of React Native.
• Knowledge of isomorphic React.
• Experience implementing custom plugins made in Vue.
