Description

You will research, design, develop, and maintain a web-based grant management application system.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop new systems and maintain existing code through bug fixes and enhancements.
• Design and implement enterprise-level applications using J2EE technologies.
• Write and unit test Java code to ensure system stability.
• Manipulate data to analyze and define system requirements.
• Provide production support for the eRA Program.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java (1.7+) and J2EE/JEE technologies.
• Experience with Spring MVC, Spring JDBC, and Hibernate.
• Strong background in RDBMS and database design using Oracle and PL/SQL.
• Hands-on experience with XML and Web Services (RESTful, SOAP, Apache CXF).
• Front-end development skills including Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, and Tiles.
• Experience with modern frameworks such as Angular or React JS.
• Knowledge of automated testing tools like JUnit, Cucumber, and Selenium.
• Proficiency with Git, Stash, and JIRA.
• Experience working within Agile Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
