Lead the modernization of legacy applications into service-oriented architectures within a distributed team environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle application development process, ensuring code meets architecture, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Lead technical teams in delivering web technology architecture, design, and implementation.
• Architect and deploy high-volume, high-transaction, distributed, and redundant web applications.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate user requirements into technical business solutions.
• Perform comprehensive unit testing on all solutions prior to user acceptance testing and implementation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET (C#), ASP.NET/MVC, and WCF/WebAPI.
• 5+ years of experience in a lead developer capacity.
• Extensive experience updating legacy applications to service-oriented architecture.
• Proficiency with SQL Server, Oracle, and other Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
• Strong frontend skills in JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Durandal, Knockout), HTML, CSS, XML, and JSON.
• Experience with Python and GIS Frameworks.
• Knowledge of REST, OOP concepts, and design patterns.
• Ability to architect cloud-based applications using Microsoft Azure or AWS (PaaS and IaaS).
• Experience working within Agile (Scrum, SAFe, DAD) or Waterfall methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with complex systems analysis and troubleshooting high-volume distributed systems.
