Description

You will work as an apprentice within the Kafka team to develop applications and services on SAP BTP using Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop proof-of-concept (POC) applications within a dedicated SCRUM team.
• Build Java microservices with a focus on event-driven communication using Apache Kafka.
• Contribute to the end-to-end development lifecycle of SAP Cloud ALM.
• Assist in creating microservices, libraries, and user interfaces.
• Apply cloud-native development principles to ensure scalable and resilient applications.

Required Skills

• Current Master’s student or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of Java and Spring Boot programming.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Basic knowledge of Angular for front-end development.
• Understanding of software development and digital transformation.
• Experience working within an agile SCRUM environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka.
• Familiarity with Cloud environments.
