Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•     Design, build, and support MedProID features end-to-end — from the UI (Classic ASP, ASP.NET Web Forms/MVC, jQuery, Bootstrap) down through the Oracle PL/SQL data layer.

•     Read, write, and troubleshoot Oracle PL/SQL: stored procedures, packages, triggers, and views that power MedProID and DLS.

•     Provide ongoing maintenance and enhancement support for DLS (WPF desktop application).

•     Diagnose and resolve production issues across the full stack, including under change-control for database changes.

•     Follow Client's established Oracle coding, schema-design, and unit-testing standards (utPLSQL) for any database change, and ship changes as reviewed, per-issue deployment scripts.

•     Participate in code review and technical design discussions with the MedProID product team.

•     Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) where helpful to move faster through unfamiliar legacy code — encouraged, not required.

Qualifications — Must-Have (verified, hands-on, production experience)

Screen specifically for the following. This is not a standard modern full-stack placement, and general React/Node full-stack candidates without this background are unlikely to succeed in the role.

•     Classic ASP and ASP.NET — real production experience across the frontend/middle tier.

•     VB.NET and VBScript.

•     JavaScript / jQuery.

•     Oracle PL/SQL — able to read, write, and troubleshoot stored procedures and queries.

•     Redis or a directly comparable in-memory caching layer.

•     A true full-stack mindset: comfortable owning a feature from UI through business logic through the database, rather than staying in a single tier.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Valuable for Client's broader direction, but should not be weighted above the must-have list above during screening.

•     Fluency with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Codex, or similar) to move faster through legacy code. General AI/ML engineering experience is not an acceptable substitute for the must-have qualifications, though it's a welcome addition on top of them.

•     Exposure to WPF desktop application development.

•     Exposure to React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, microservices, RabbitMQ, or Kafka — useful for future growth as Client modernizes, but not required for this seat.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on work experience. Mid-level: candidates should have several years of verifiable, hands-on production experience in the must-have stack above

Education

Bachelor's degree
