Description

You will build and maintain applications and services using modern technologies within an autonomous team structure.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications and services for team-owned projects using current tools and technologies.
• Deploy applications across all environments in collaboration with release teams and Product Management.
• Perform unit, integration, functional, and non-functional testing to ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and refactor existing applications to add new features.
• Document application design and code to ensure technical accuracy.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering and solving complex technical problems.
• 8 years of experience with Node.js.
• 8 years of experience with Vue or React for single page web application development.
• 7 years of experience with AWS, including S3 and SQS.
• Experience with GCP.
• Experience building containerized solutions and deploying to AWS using Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Experience implementing OAuth security protocols.
• Experience with automated testing and mocking patterns using Jest or Mocha.
• BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge in natural sciences such as biology or chemistry.
