Description

You will own the full development lifecycle for custom and vended applications in an Agile Lean and Extreme Programming environment.

Responsibilities

• Write tests using Test Driven Development (TDD) to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Develop front-end and back-end code using ReactJS, Spring Boot, and Kotlin.
• Lead offshore teams and mentor engineers through technical guidance and delegation.
• Collaborate with product owners to evolve requirements, estimate user story complexity, and iterate features.
• Provide application support, troubleshooting, and proactive risk identification.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Java and J2EE.
• 5+ years of proficient SQL experience, preferably with Oracle.
• 2+ years of experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
• Experience with SOAP and REST Services, JDBC, and SOA.
• Experience with CI/CD methodologies and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Angular, OpenShift, and Netflix OSS tools.
• Background in Finance, Investment Consulting, or Actuarial fields.
