Description
Build and maintain services for the middle office platform resiliency and interoperability within a scrum team.
Responsibilities
- Drive the design and implementation of scalable, high-performing applications.
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
- Develop reusable code and services in collaboration with other technologists.
- Help shape best practices for software development and continuous platform improvement.
- Ensure consistent service delivery within an Agile environment.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python and Java.
- Experience with Angular 11 or higher, JavaScript frameworks, CSS, and HTML.
- Strong experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.
- Hands-on experience with messaging frameworks like Kafka.
- Solid understanding of Microservices architecture and architectural patterns.
- Strong fundamentals in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Design.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of the Securities or Financial Services domain.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
