Description

You will build and maintain full-stack applications, owning the code from the database layer through the user interface.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop frontend features using React, Plotly.js, Ant Design, React Query, Router, and Hook Form.
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js, Express.js, and Sequelize ORM, documenting them with OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Integrate bioinformatics workflows using Python and Bash scripting, including CSV and Excel data processing.
• Manage infrastructure using Terraform and Docker, deploying applications on AWS and Cloud Foundry.
• Ensure code quality by implementing automated tests using Jest, React Testing Library, pytest, and Shellspec.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in React for frontend development.
• Experience with Node.js and Express.js for backend services.
• Strong ability in scripting with Python and Bash.
• Experience managing infrastructure with Terraform and Docker.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
• Proficiency in automated testing frameworks (Jest, pytest).
• Knowledge of API documentation standards (OpenAPI/Swagger).
