DeFiGuard is a real-time risk monitoring and threat detection platform for DeFi protocols. We help users and protocol teams spot exploits, flash loan attacks, oracle manipulation, and suspicious on-chain activity before funds are lost. Our stack spans a React dashboard, Node.js services, and smart contracts across multiple EVM chains.
We're looking for a full-stack engineer who can move fluidly between polished frontend work and the backend infrastructure that watches the chain in real time.
What You'll Do
- Build the DeFiGuard dashboard in React/Next.js — real-time alerts, risk scores, protocol health views, and transaction forensics
- Develop Node.js services that ingest and index on-chain data across Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, and Optimism
- Integrate wallet connections and transaction signing (WalletConnect, MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet)
- Write and audit Solidity contracts for our on-chain guardrails and alerting hooks
- Build real-time pipelines (WebSockets, event streams) that surface threats within seconds of detection
- Work with our security researchers to translate detection logic into production code
- Own features end-to-end — from spec to deploy to monitoring
Required Skills
- Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, React Query, Tailwind
- Backend: Node.js, NestJS or Express, PostgreSQL, Redis, REST & GraphQL
- Blockchain: Solidity, Hardhat or Foundry, ethers.js or viem, deep EVM fundamentals
- Web3 UX: Wallet connection flows, transaction lifecycle, chain switching, gas estimation
- Understanding of common DeFi attack vectors (reentrancy, flash loans, oracle manipulation, MEV)
- Git, CI/CD, Docker, AWS or GCP
Nice to Have
- Experience with The Graph, subgraphs, or custom indexers
- Familiarity with Tenderly, Alchemy, QuickNode, or similar infra
- Rust or Go
- Prior work at a DeFi protocol, security firm, or on-chain analytics company
- Open-source contributions in the Web3 security space
What We Offer
- Competitive salary + token/equity package
- Fully remote with flexible hours
- Budget for conferences, courses, and hardware
- Small senior team — your work ships fast and matters
To Apply
Send your resume, GitHub, and a short note about a Web3 or security project you've shipped (links to live apps or contracts welcome).
