Description

You will build and maintain enterprise-scale applications using Java and Angular.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy microservices using Spring Boot and JPA.
• Design and implement REST APIs and JMS messaging solutions.
• Develop front-end components using Angular 11+ and jQuery.
• Manage application deployment across Tomcat, IBM Liberty, and WebSphere servers.
• Write unit tests using JUnit and Mockito to ensure code quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java 8/17 and Java EE.
• Deep expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Angular 11+, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Working knowledge of relational databases including DB2 and Oracle.
• Experience with middleware such as Tomcat 9/10, IBM Liberty, or WebSphere.
• Proficiency with Git, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, and Jira.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall methodologies.
• Background in Financial Services.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing in Windows and Linux environments.
• Knowledge of container technologies like OpenShift.
