Description

You will build API-based web applications from concept through production, prioritizing a cloud-first architecture.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy API-based systems using industry-leading practices.
• Tackle complex technical challenges and devise solutions in ambiguous situations.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders and the development team, clearly communicating technical concepts.
• Ensure code quality through thorough testing and drive continuous process improvements.
• Mentor team members and make key technical decisions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in multiple full-stack tools covering frontend, databases, and deployments.
• Experience with general programming languages and Test-Driven Development.
• Expertise with Node.js, AWS (including Lambda, ECS, API Gateway), Terraform, Jenkins/Github Actions, and Docker/Linux.
• Hands-on experience with C# dotNet (Core and Framework) and SQL relational/NoSQL databases.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems creatively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks without direct supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of the Insurance or reinsurance industry.
• Familiarity with DBT, Snowflake, or Angular.
