Description

You will build and maintain responsive web applications using WordPress and Angular, while designing scalable microservices with Java and Spring Boot.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom WordPress themes, plugins, and Learning Management System integrations.
• Design and deploy scalable microservices and database services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement test-driven development and influence testing strategies and automation.
• Ensure web accessibility compliance with AOADA regulations and standards.
• Perform peer reviews and mentor other developers to ensure code quality and architectural standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on development experience.
• Proficiency in WordPress architecture, including custom theme and plugin development.
• Extensive experience with Angular and front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Strong back-end expertise in PHP, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with MySQL and relational database technologies.
• Proven ability to integrate third-party APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with Git version control and mobile-first responsive design.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and WordPress optimization techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a test-driven development (TDD) environment.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
