Description

Build and maintain software applications while integrating COTS solutions into existing workflows.

You will own the development of user interfaces, web services, and efficient database schemas. You will implement CI/CD processes and migrate applications to cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Integrate COTS solutions, specifically PTC Arbortext, into current systems.
• Design and implement efficient database schemas using Oracle and MySQL.
• Manage content and publishing workflows using XML, SGML, DTD, and EPIC FOSi.
• Develop web services and APIs to facilitate system communication.
• Implement CI/CD processes via GitLab and migrate applications to cloud platforms.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development projects.
• Proficiency in Java and C++.
• Strong experience with Oracle and MySQL database interactions.
• Working knowledge of GitLab CI/CD processes.
• Experience with cloud platform migration and optimization.
• Ability to design and develop web services and APIs.
• Experience working within Linux environments.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
• Experience with EPIC FOSi, SGML, and XML for data representation.
