REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of professional Software Engineering experience.
• Recent Payments Industry experience is mandatory.
• Prior payment system development/migration experience required.
• Full Stack development: Java, Spring Boot, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• REST APIs development, integration and consumption.
• AWS Cloud development and deployment.
• SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL and Oracle Stored Procedures.
• Apache Kafka and event-driven services/applications.
• Frontend state management: Redux or Context API.
• Cloud-native development and cloud-native SaaS applications.
• Software Architecture and Object-Oriented Design.
• Security and secure coding best practices.
• Responsive Design, Accessibility, Web Performance and frontend best practices.
• Reusable frontend components, modern frontend architecture and Design Systems/Component Libraries.
• Automated testing: Unit, Component, Integration and End-to-End Testing.
• Testing tools: JUnit, Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or similar.
• Experience improving performance, scalability, reliability, security and operational excellence.
• Agile development experience.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience with geographically distributed engineering teams preferred.
• Financial services/payments experience involving Bill Pay, Credit Card, Accounts Receivable, or Accounts Payable preferred
