Description

You will support the development and maintenance of the Fixed Income Regulatory application (IRIS). You will own the release pipeline, lead technical consultancy, and mentor developers while collaborating with product owners to translate business requirements into technical user stories.

Responsibilities

• Develop code for new requirements and resolve defects using established best practices.
• Lead technical consultancy, perform code reviews, and mentor other developers.
• Map technical requirements to delivery schedules and pipelines.
• Collaborate with testing teams to ensure coverage and identify risk mitigation strategies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT experience in Java development as an individual contributor and leader.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Elasticsearch and the ELK stack.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools including Grafana, Kibana, and Prometheus.
• Working knowledge of UI frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Exposure to message-driven architectures using JMS, IBM MQ, Artemis, or Solace.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools like TeamCity, Jenkins, Jira, or Confluence.
• Familiarity with Unit, Regression, and e2e testing, as well as Git or Subversion.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RDBMS (Oracle) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Knowledge of Fixed Income Cash and Derivative products, Trade Life cycle, and STP.
