Description

We are looking for candidates with substantial recent experience in Angular development, including components, services, forms, routing, state management, and API integration, along with strong .NET backend experience and SQL Server skills. 
  
Tech Stack Evolution:
Version 1.0 (Current): Angular front-end (version 19.5), .NET APIs, and SQL Server using Entity Framework.  
Version 2.0 (New Architecture): Rebuilding/re-architecting core modules. Uses Angular (version 21), completely rewritten .NET 10 APIs (clean architecture), and Dapper instead of Entity Framework, alongside new database designs/stored procedures.  

Application Layout:
Split into two distinct web applications (City Portal for internal users authenticated via Azure Entra ID, and Landlord Portal for external landlords authenticated via NYC ID).  

Hiring Goals & Challenges:

Looking for strong Full-Stack Developers (.NET & Angular) who can analyze existing v1.0 code/modules, map them to new schemas, write clean back-end code/stored procedures, and ensure backward compatibility without breaking existing functionality.  
A major interview bottleneck has been candidates showing strong theoretical knowledge (or leaning heavily on AI tools during remote calls) but struggling significantly during in-person or practical scenario-based evaluations—especially regarding Angular-to-.NET integration
