Description

You will manage data services and containerized applications on Azure, owning the infrastructure and pipeline lifecycle.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Azure Data Services and Terraform modules.
• Develop data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and PySpark.
• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Azure Kubernetes.
• Orchestrate data workflows using Airflow and Oozie.
• Oversee messaging and event-driven architectures via Azure Service Bus and Event Grid.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of professional engineering experience.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, and SQL.
• Experience with Azure Data Services including ADLS, ADF, Databricks, and HDInsight.
• Hands-on work with Terraform and Terraform modules.
• Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Web Services, and REST APIs.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Hadoop and Spark.
• Proficiency with Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of Azure Networking and App Insights.
