Description

Build and maintain core web platforms, APIs, and interactive dashboards for public health data consumption.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and build interactive dashboards for dengue forecasts and intervention data.
• Revamp and maintain public-facing program websites and stakeholder portals.
• Develop backend services and APIs to serve ML outputs and datasets.
• Translate complex data and ML outputs into clear, usable visualizations.
• Collaborate with ML, epidemiology, and public health teams to refine requirements.

Required Skills

• 4–8 years of experience in Full Stack Engineering or a similar capacity.
• Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks, specifically React or Next.js.
• Backend proficiency in Python and/or Node.js.
• Experience developing data-heavy dashboards or analytics products.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, early-stage problem environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using data visualization libraries such as D3, Recharts, or Plotly.
• Exposure to civic tech, healthcare, or data platform environments.
