Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java 8/17 and Spring Boot.
• Implement data persistence layers using Hibernate and MyBatis with Oracle SQL databases.
• Manage asynchronous messaging and event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
• Automate testing and quality assurance using JUnit for unit tests and Karate for API validation.
• Build and deploy applications via Jenkins CI/CD pipelines on AWS infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java (versions 8 and 17).
• Proficiency in Spring Boot framework for building enterprise applications.
• Strong command of ORM frameworks: Hibernate and MyBatis.
• Experience with relational databases, specifically Oracle SQL.
• Practical knowledge of Apache Kafka for messaging and event streaming.
• Experience with cloud services on AWS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, specifically Jenkins.
• Proficiency in version control using Git and build tools like Maven.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with test automation tools such as JUnit and Karate.
• Ability to work independently with a minimum tenure of 3 years in previous roles.
