Description

You will build and maintain the React component library that powers our design system.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Compose flexible, accessible, and thoroughly tested components for the design system.
• Develop tooling for builds, delivery, and automation.
• Maintain high standards for component quality through unit and e2e testing.
• Provide technical guidance and support to teams consuming the component library.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• In-depth knowledge of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript.
• Experience developing React components or component libraries.
• Proficiency with Git and distributed version control systems.
• Experience performing unit and e2e testing on React components.
• Strong communication skills for teaching and assisting other engineers.
• Knowledge of Docker.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JavaScript bundling tools like Webpack, Rollup, or Vite.
• Experience with API design and development.
• Understanding of version and release management through open source contributions.
