Description

Build and maintain high-performance systems software using C/C++, Python, and Docker on Linux.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize systems code in C (C99+) and C++ (11/14/17).
• Implement memory management, networking internals, and multithreaded solutions.
• Extend open-source libraries including OpenSSL, zlib, FFmpeg, libssh2, and ImageMagick.
• Integrate build systems (make, cmake, autotools) and containerize workflows with Docker.
• Diagnose issues using gdb, valgrind, perf, and tcpdump.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience with C and/or C++.
• Deep knowledge of Linux kernel, glibc, and systems programming.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
• Experience with Docker and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with multithreading and memory management techniques.
• Ability to debug complex system-level issues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating or extending toolchains.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
