Description

Build and maintain server-side systems and trading platforms for capital markets.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based server applications with a focus on securities processing.
• Integrate Python components into the core infrastructure.
• Manage application deployment using Tomcat.
• Implement logic for PnL calculation, pricing, and risk/margin systems.
• Support distributed multi-asset platforms handling equities, options, and futures.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong server-side architecture skills.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Deep understanding of securities, capital markets, and bilateral/listed trades.
• Experience with risk or margin systems.
• Knowledge of equities, options, and futures.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with SQL.
• Exposure to AI tools such as Claude.
