Description

You will design, develop, and maintain web applications and microservices using the Java EE platform in McLean, VA.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop web applications, web services, and SOA-based applications.
• Architect reusable components and frameworks for the application ecosystem.
• Tune all application tiers on the JEE platform to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage the full software development life cycle from design through implementation.
• Improve application development processes and tools through continuous technical refinement.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in solution design and development using Java EE.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring, Apache CXF, JAXB, and JMS.
• Proficiency in Microservices, XML, and Web Services.
• Expertise in Object Oriented Analysis and Design using Java and UML.
• Deep understanding of JEE patterns and their real-time application.
• Experience with Weblogic platform and integration using EJBs.
• Working knowledge of SQL, database concepts, and stored procedures.
• Experience working within UNIX environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SOA-based application architecture.
