Description

You will develop and maintain software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular JS.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Azure SQL, Spring Boot, Angular JS, Java, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements.
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness through rigorous testing and debugging.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and participate in code reviews.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Required Skills

• 8 to 12 years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Java (OpenJDK) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience with Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Data.
• Expertise in Azure SQL, MySQL, and relational database design.
• Strong knowledge of Angular JS and JavaScript.
• Experience with OpenAPI Specification (Swagger) for API design and documentation.
• Proficiency in version control using Git/GitHub, including branching, merging, and pull requests.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or Swagger UI.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization using Docker, and fixing code vulnerabilities via Veracode and SonarQube.

Preferred Skills

• MuleSoft API design and development.
• Expertise in converting APIs from SOAP to REST.
• Extensive experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
