Description

You will develop system services and in-vehicle applications for Android Automotive OS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop application logic using Kotlin or Java for Android system services.
• Implement native components and hardware interfacing using C++ via JNI.
• Build in-vehicle applications using the applets framework, such as climate control and camera views.
• Integrate applets with HMI layers and Android Automotive UI templates.
• Implement inter-module communication using AIDL, event bus, or IPC.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin for Android development.
• Experience with C++ for native components and optimization.
• Familiarity with Android Framework internals, including System Services, AIDL, and Binder IPC.
• Knowledge of Android HAL, JNI, and NDK for native integration.
• Experience customizing or extending AOSP/AAOS system architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Python for tooling or testing.
